Oh, the Madness! And it’s not even Selection Sunday. Gas prices are bleeping nuts and the stock market is crashing. What if we all stop driving for two weeks, maybe that will lower the price of gas? Little Petey said “Go buy an electric car”. With what money? People can’t afford to pay for groceries, much less a $50K+ car. How out of touch and tone deaf can an entire administration be? If the White House tries to give you any advice on your March Madness bracket, do the opposite. At this point, their intelligence says no one even knows the difference between a football and a basketball.

Former Baylor star, WNBA Champion, Olympic gold medalist x 2, and seven-time WNBA All-star, Brittany Griner is in danger! Griner has been playing in a Russia for seven years during the WNBA offseason. (They can’t pay women the same salaries as the NBA; the revenue is not close to being the same. Women have to also support women sports to grow the game. Please stop saying if she was paid more she wouldn’t have to play overseas.) Griner has been in Russian jail for THREE WEEKS for allegedly having an ‘illegal substance’ also known as cannabis oil cartridges. Griner could face 10 years in Russian jail. WAKE UP, JOE and get Brittany out of there!
We all know this is BS! Putin is holding her hostage because he is a horrible man. Does anyone remember how fast Trump got (NBA-G league player) LiAngelo Ball out of jail in China? Griner is a queer, black, American women in a Russian jail; SHE. IS. IN. DANGER! Why is this not leading the news?
Show Me the Money
Aaron Rodgers is staying in Green Bay with a monster paycheck. Rodgers has agreed to a four-year $200 million deal. With $153 million guaranteed, we know the contract wasn’t based on beating the 49er’s. This deal most likely means Rodgers will retire a Packer and makes him the highest-paid player in NFL history. The back-to-back MVP sure is talented with a football and for messing with the media. Between his vaccination status and cryptic thank you speeches, it sounded like he was headed to retirement. I personally wanted him to come to Washington, but a girl can dream right? Now we all know he’s staying in Green Bay.
Hold My Beer
If the news of Rodgers wasn’t enough of a bombshell, the NFL said hold my beer we’re not done. The Seattle Seahawks have traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos! Wait, whaaaat? This is why you can’t believe anything you hear or see from social media or the news. Of course, Wilson said how much his family loves Seattle and they wanted him to stay a Seahawk. That’s called media training 101; you always love the team you are currently on. Then, all the rumors on Wilson wanting to be in New York for his wife, Ciara’s career or at least be on the east coast began. Rumor has it the Washington Commanders came up as making big offers, but they were not enough to bring Mr. Wilson to Washington. Adam Schefer reported the Broncos are giving up three players and multiple draft picks for Wilson.
Is there an old saying “if you’re not very good at drafting players, you learn how to give up the house and trade for a player’? The Broncos did not renew their contract with General Manager, John Elway last week. But going after a veteran QB is a play of Elway’s playbook. It worked with Peyton Manning and now they are relying on Russell Wilson.

Deadline #3
MLB is stilllll locked out with no clear direction when they will finally figure it out! Today was deadline number three. MLB told the players union that if they can finally agree on a deal today, they could still play a 162-game season. If they can’t figure out a deal today, they will lose a 2nd week of play. At the time of writing this, the only news about MLB today has been MLB signed a deal with Apple. This is Apple’s first-ever live sports rights deal. They will have Friday Night Baseball doubleheader exclusively on Apple TV+. All I understood was that I hope that the Dodgers do not play any Apple TV+ games. There’s too many streaming services and I still pay for cable. But at this point, I just want to see baseball games.
