Heading into tonight’s game, the Dodgers are 16-7 and are leading the National League with a .684-win percentage. Every Dodgers who has an at-bat has hit at least one home run. A third of the shorten season is already completed. The Dodgers are off to a great start and they still have room for improvement.

My twin brother and I may not be Dodger season ticket holders, but we will be attending every home game of the regular season this year. Well, our pictures are in the Dodger Bullpen Field Box MVP (section 51) as fan cutouts. When we decided to purchase them, I wanted to photoshop my picture so my shirt would say “CT3, DM ME”. The Dodgers had very strict guidelines and I missed my chance at trying to get Chris Taylor’s attention.

The best part about the fan cutouts is not that we see our pictures just about every home game. The best part is that I look so tall in my seat! I’ve never, NEVER, been tall in my life. I’ve never looked tall standing next to anyone. Usually, when sitting in a seat, you would never know I was there if someone was sitting in front of me. For the first time in my life and most likely the only time in my life, I look like I don’t need to sit on a phone book to see the hood of my car. I love my fan cutout, thanks, Byron (my twin)!

Joe Kelly suspension was reduced from 8 games to 5. Wild Joe is currently on the injured list with shoulder inflammation, but he will serve his 5 games once he is active again. Reminder, Kelly didn’t hit anyone with a pitch, he wasn’t ejected from the game, he wasn’t even given a warning from the umpires and the ONLY player Rob Manfred suspended was Joe bleeping Kelly. Not a single Astros player has yet to be suspended for the biggest sign-stealing cheating scandal in baseball history.

Chris Taylor, Ahh, CT3. After you get passed how good looking he is, you can see why Dave Roberts calls him “invaluable” and a manager’s dream. Not just his ability and willingness to play infield and outfield, but his skill at each position is so rare. His bat is consistent no matter where he is in the lineup. He is the only Dodger who has played in all 23 games with a .268 batting average and leads the team with an .373 On-Base Percentage. That 93mph fastball thrown from left field to home-plate was a game winning rocket of an out against the Padres. The throw not only won the game, it won the series. Yes, Dave Roberts, Chris Taylor is a dream, on and off the field. Did I mention how great real stirrups look on CT3?

All in all, the biggest addition to the Dodgers roster was former American League MVP, Mookie Betts. Betts originally signed at $27Million for the 2020 season. Betts loves being a Dodger and right after the 2020 season officially started he signed a 12-year contract extension through the 2032 season. The $365 million-dollar deal makes Mookie the second largest contract in MLB history. (Mike Trout has the highest at $430M 12-year contract.) Mookie. Betts. Worth it! The speed, arm strength, and his power from his 5’9 frame is what video games dream of. Even with Betts starting off a little rusty and my dad reminding my family daily. (Insert eye roll.) Then BOOM! Mookie showed up and he leads the team with .314 batting average, 8 home runs (3 in one game), 19 RBI’s and 27 hits.

However, after going winless against the Los Angeles Angels last year, the Dodgers finally beat the Angels by sweeping them last night. Tonight’s game against the Seattle Mariners will be the first time Corey Seager (23 years old) will play against his brother, Kyle Seager (32 years old). It’s a win-win for the Seager parents, but the Dodgers need the win at home. It’s Time For Dodger Baseball.

The Twitter @AsteriskTour for 2020 Astros Shame Tour is still undefeated.
